Everyone,

I'm on day 12 (phase II) and feeling fairly well.  I've lost 14 pounds and still would like to lose 14 more.  In the past 4 days, I've only lost about a full pound, so of course I'm a little nervous, but sticking with it.

I am a little confused on mixing vegetables.  It is my understanding that from Dr. Simeons pounds and inches you are only suppose to have one vegetable per meal.  I'm very careful with ensuring I stay at the 500 calorie mark, even with the vegetables, but I have had small salads with lettuce, tomato, and cucumbers.  I usually throw my 100 grams of meat on top and go to town.  All of this stays within 500, but is this going to cause me less results by eating more than one veggie?

Thanks for all the support.

congrats on your loss so far!

I've just started (literally, just took my first injection a few hours ago), but as I understood it during the informational meeting, you do not mix veggies UNLESS it is a garden salad, with which you can indeed add tomatoes, cucumbers, etc...

keep us posted!
