I'm only on day 3 but my hands are so dry they feel like sandpaper.  The 'no oil' caveat seems to point mostly to lanolin-an animal based fat.  What about plain old petroleum jelly or vitamin E or Cornhuskers lotion that is almost pure glycerine? Are they OK?

Day 6 and dry skin is not as bad.

Does anyone else visit this site on a regular basis or have you all reached your goals and disappeared?

you can use baby oil...this is mineral oil and your body does not "eat it" like other oils...I put it in a little spray bottle (I bought a walmart) and after my showers/baths just spray it on and massage in...also you can add more during the day for your hands if you need it. Use Neutrogena oil-free lotion for your face. Dr.Simeon said you can use mineral oil...so go for it!....not sure if petrolium jelly is ok to use.

Sunsea,
Thanks for responding.  I was beginning to think this board had been abandoned! Wink
I'm already in the habit of using baby oil in the shower before drying off so have it readily available. I haven't needed to use lotions on my face or makeup for years so that part hasn't been an issue.  The dry skin seems to be mostly on my hands.

So far, I'm happy with my early results.  Tomorrow will be my 7th day. I'm feeling better and actually seem to have more energy and focus at work. I'm also sleeping better..except for the bathroom trips  Grin But that was an issue even before I started the HCG.  I'm just drinking way more water than I used to.
