I can't seem to find a definite answer on the subject.  I'm following the original protocol (in the middle of my second week and have lost 20lbs.), but want to know if it's beneficial at all to throw in a little cardio exercise?

I have been on since April 1st and have lost 30 lbs with very little cardio.  I don't know if it helps but the next 2 weeks I'm going to incorporate more to see if I can get to my 50lb weight loss goal!
