I've researched the heck out of the HCG program and I'm now gonna make the plunge. Dr appointment set up for tommorrow with an awsome physician in thwe western suburbs of Illinois who has done his own studies on HCG and says it's phenominal. I will be getting my hcg through him from a compound pharmacy and hopefully he gives me the subq needles not the IM otherwise game over! lol . I probably only need to go one round 20 lbs max loss is my goal but I'll be happy with 15 lbs. I am 5'2" 160 lbs, but I do train with heavy weights 3x a week and do cardio 5x a week so there is some muscle that contributes to my overall total weight. I'd like to see 140 and I'd be happy there but we'll see how this all goes. I will continue to stay active with my weight and cardio training throughout the duration of the diet and hope fatigue isn't too much of a problem. My main concern is keeping the muscle I've worked so hard to get, but it sounds as though there is no muscle loss on this diet due to you are burning your fat reserves.
So with that said, is there anyone else out there that is totally dedicated to this for the next 6 weeks to share in some mutual support and keep each other going so to speak?

Haha...OK lot's of folks on this board I see. Well, let me update on my adventure with the HCG diet.
I seen the physician on Wednesday and since I started to pack away some quality fatty foods and it could count as a load day I gave myself my first 125 subq at about 2:30 pm then went to the gym and worked out for about 1 1/2 hours then came home and continued to shovel it in to the point of nausea.
Next day I had bloody nose in the morning due to the dry winter air that lasted for about an hour after that continued to eat like there is no tommorrow 3 pieces of chocolate cream pie 2 Red Baron personal size sausage pizzas a whole bag of Pepperidge Farm Mint Malano cookies a large Starbucks Pumpkin Spiced Latte a container of Pringles and a HoHo. I did my injection at about 4:30pm.
Friday I injected at 10:30am went to the gym and did cardio for 45 min. I ate as perscribed by the original protocol. It seemed as though someone turned on my faucet 'cause I was in the bathroom alot! I used to drink coffee but on this protocol I'm sticking to tea with Sweet 'n Low.
Saturday I woke with a headache that lasted most of the day despite taking 2 Motrin. I did my injection at 10:00am, no gym just ate my 200g of protein my 200g of veggies and so on.
This morning I did my injection at 10:00. Did some shopping today too. I had 100g lobster and asparagus one grissini and half an apple for lunch dinner consisted of 1oog steak and 100g broccoli grissini and a sliced apples cooked with some cinnamon and 3 packets of splenda.
I have seen a loss of 5 lbs although I have my belief that a lot of that was water weight we'll see what transpires from here on in. I started at 160 and have 20 to loose.
