Does anybody know if it is ok to eat a lean ground beef or turkey patty? I have been doing boneless skinless chicken breast, fish or steak. It would be nice to change things up a bit!

I use lean ground beef (organic, grassfed) and it works just fine.
I believe turkey is a no-no because of the higher fat content.

Actually, ground turkey breast has alot less fat, but you are right regular ground turkey has alot more fat than a ground beef. I used lean ground beef patties with Greek Seasoning and I added a little water to the skillet to keep it juicy.

Absolutely! I included both of these meats in my diet. I always made sure that I got the leanest grade available which was usually 99% lean on the ground turkey and 98% lean on the ground beef. Here is a sample of how I followed the Hcg diet plan daily. For lunch my meat would be 100 grams of either veal, chicken breast, beef, turkey, lobster, fresh white fish, shrimp, or crab. All of the fat must be removed before cooking the meat and it must be weighed while in it is in the raw state. When you cook your meat it must be prepared by grilling or boiling and without any fat being added to it during the cooking process. Then I added one vegetable with my meat. I also purchase both of the cookbooks that are available for the Hcg diet and this has really helped me to get creative and keep the Hcg diet interesting and tasty. I tend to get real bored with the same thing and the same flavors. I wish ou all the succes with this great diet.
