Is it o.k. to eat watermelon or grapes while on the HCG diet?  It seems that there are not many fruits listed to eat.

I don't think watermelon and grapes are a good idea as they are both pretty high in sugar ~ the only fruits allowed on my plan are 1 medium organic apple or 1/2 organic grapefruit, or organic orange, or a handful of organic strawberries.

Hope this helps and best wishes!

Oranges may be okay, but it's not on the original manuscript or KT's book either.

Thanks for the input.  I had a feeling that apples, grapefruit and strawberries were the only allowed fruits.  In KT's book it does not mention oranges, however in the information that comes with the HCG, it does say oranges are ok.

I think that the Simeons Plan does have oranges in it.

You don't have to weigh the orange. Just have one orange for your fruit serving. The calories can be calculated by weighing the orange without the peel.  Wink

Thanks very much.  Could you also let me know, after I've been off HCG in phase 3 and are ready to back on the program for the second round, do I binge eat for the first two day again or is that only when you first start?  I've been on the plan for 6 days and Have lost 8.4 pounds.  I feel great.
