Are you drinking smooth move tea, taking a scoop of fiber, drinking 2 liters or more of water and have you tried an apple day??? What are you doing for excersize. If nothing, then try a daily walk. Or extend what you are already doing.

Or another possibility may be that your body is in the process of "Reaching a Former Level" as Dr. Simeons described in his manuscript. It's a very small section, but after I read it, I realized it was what was happening with me. I understood what was happening w/my body better and in turn it made the diet easier to get through...
Give it a read.
Hope it helps!

Thanks for the advice.  I tried the "apple day" and dropped 2 pounds the following day. I haven't been taking fiber or drinking smooth move tea, so I'll try that too, but have been drinking Yerba Mate and Green Tea, plus drinking 64 ounces of water daily. I bought a "rebounder" for exercise, but haven't been doing it daily.  The other thing is that I always feel hungry, so I wonder if I'm not getting enough calories?  I'll have to read the section of the protocol.  Thanks - appreciate your advice!

How are your bowel movements?  A lot of women have general problems being regular, and they store up a lot of... stuff.  Some people get constipated on this diet, though it's never happened to me because of all the veggies and water intake.  Having a stoppage can contribute to sustaining weight, and in some cases gaining.  This is true when you're not even on the diet, because of the toxic build-up.  You should be going at least once a day. Hey CAGirl!
Just wanted to let ya know that it's helpful if you drink the recommended dose of water everyday: half your body weight in ounces.
The reason I say this is because the 2 liters Dr. Simeon's says everyone should drink daily may not equal someone's body weight halved.
Ie: If someone weighs 140, then they should be drinking 70 ounces of water/day for their body to function normally, this is extremely important during the protocol.
Hope this helps!
Peace
