Can anyone tell me which brands of lotion, shampoo and other cosmetics I can use. I hate to be dry and I have to wash my hair everyday because of the oil in it.

I'm waiting for KT's book in the mail. Does it give info like this in it?

I placed my first order today, just have to send the check tomorrow. I'm very excited. I keep teasing my daughter that I am going to get smaller than her and take her clothes, but she knows it's just a joke. She is a size 1. I would never want to be that small. I'm good with a size 5 or 7.

I found a Calendula Cucumber facial lotion with SPF 15 from Rachael Perry at the Health Food Store that's oil free--I love the smell. Aparently mineral oil or coconut oil, because of their solvent qualities and their molecular structure don't add oil to your system. However, Kevin Trudeau and other purists believe mineral oil is akin to poison! I used some coconut oil as needed off and on with sucess during injections. I read a book called The Coconut Oil Miracle at the time and went kind of koo koo for Coconuts for a while!!! Oil of any kind is not part of the protocol and not everyone can get away with the same things. I found that body brushing really kept my skin soft and without the need for lotion and California is a desert even at the beach!

My hands, feet and face were the places that I needed the coconut oil from time to time. I used shampoo and conditioner every day; Nexxus humectress is more of a moisturiser than anything and I got away with it, but I did use a very small amout. Also, I've seen shampoos and conditioners that are for people with oily hair used on this program with success... NaPca spray is an oil free moituriser- as is aloe vera gel. Check it out at your health food store; the more natural the better.

That's great to hear thank you.I also I live in California so I know what you mean about the desert part. It doesn't help that I live where it is really hot. Nice that the beach is not that far from where I live.

It's a good thing coconut is my favorite thing ever.
Thanks for the info. I'll go to Whole Foods today and let you know what I come up with. Do you have any other suggestion for me to get while I'm there in order to prepare myself before my order comes.

I also wanted to know what kind of deodorant and hand soap that you suggest. I don't want to hinder my progress by things that I overlook.

Just waiting for my order to arrive. I sent my check last Friday and still waiting for KT's book in the mail.

Thanks,
April

There are some things that I draw the line at and an effective deodorant is one of them. My advice is to use whatever is effective for you and if you can go with an aluminum free brand it's all the better. The natural brands that I like are Tom's and Burt's Bees and are available at the health food store. Taking at least 50 milligrams of zinc daily really stops B.O. and I do it even when on injections.

Good Morning Wink

I use Corn Huskers Lotion with great success.  I found mineral oil too "slippery"!

Ivory makes a body wash and shampoo that doesn't reduce the effectiveness of HCG.

I would also like to add that it is important to stay on the diet protocol for 3 days after your last injection and then avoid all white sugars and starches for at least 2-3 weeks.  Remember you have reset the hypothalmus gland and you want to keep it stable before you introduce the processed foods that caused your weight gain to begin with.

I have used HCG (2 26 day Programs) twice within the last year.  The weight loss and body restructuring was fantastic.  I did it twice because as a vegetarian I wanted to do it once, following the Simeon Protocol exactly (w/organic meat, fish and chicken) and once using an plant based routine (which is NOT the simeon protocol)
I had great success with the plant based program but the conversions took a lot of work to get the right amount of protein and I don't recommend this for the normal lay person.
I am a Certified Natural Health Consultant specializing in Nutrition and Weight Loss Coaching so I have a good nutritional background and can work out substitutions within Dr. Simeon's original protocol.
Hope this has been good information for you!
