Newbie here.
After months of reading KT's book and viewing posts on this forum, I decided to take the plunge (no pun intended here). I'm not too afraid of the needles, but am a bit uncomfortable being a pin cushion to myself. I'm mostly concerned about the diet. Love my bread and peanut butter. (Can't go without 'em). Ever tried PB and honey in your oatmeal? Hard to imagine not having them for at least 6 weeks! Now that's torture!
I'm male, 5'6", 175Ibs. Need to lose like 15 to 20 stubborn pounds. Figure I need all the support I can get. I ordered my HCG from this site. Wiring $ cost too much, so I cut a free certified check from my credit union. Mailed it last week. Probably won't get the juice for about a month. Never done anything this radical. Hope I have the willpower to last. How did you folks deal with the cravings? Was it hard?

Well, gonna start my injections tomorrow morning. I guess we all sort of have the jitters the first time around. Never poked my self before, but I did helped my wife when she had gestational diabetes, and I gave antibiotics to horses a few times. Guess it's payback time. I'm glad I love greens, apples and grapefruit. Gonna miss the bread and peanuts. Good bye cruel world...

Well, just did my fourth injection this morning. The first one was pretty difficult. Guess we're not predisposed to stabbing onesself on purpose. The injections don't hurt at all. I've had mosquito bites that felt more. I'm actually surprised at how little discomfort there is. I'd say pain, but it's really not painful. Not sure how you others feel, but I haven't injected in my leg or butt, only my stomach near the belly button.
The first day of dieting was kind of challenging. Felt a little fatigued, but not shakey or with ravenous hunger. I have brief periods of strong hunger, but that subsides fairly quick. 2nd day of dieting is slightly better, but can tell the body is having to reach into its reserves to keep up. I feel like I'm on the verge of getting the shakes, but it never quite gets there. Not sure if any of you feel the same, but I have a slight tingly feeling in my face and lips. I'm hoping some fat is being metabolized there, cuz I've got a lot. Anyway, It looks like I'll survive this thing.

Hi there, I noticed no one has replied so I will lol. So how are your injections going lately? You say it doesn't hurt to inject in the stomache? I may try that. I won't be starting my injections for a few weeks yet, I'm working on a few things first, a (phase 1) as they say. Going good so far. I have never in my life injected a living thing lol, so should I go slow or fast? Jab or press in carefully lol. Keep us updated!

You two definitely know how to tug on the heartstrings! Before this program, I had never injected anyone either. I have done both tummy and thigh, with great success in my first round. My husband and I have just started our second round, and I will alternate my injection sites between both sides of my belly button and each thigh. We do a 3 count, and then just slide it in. Not fast, and not slow. We also push the plunger in at that same moderate speed. It burns SLIGHTLY at the very end, but that's it. I always keep a cotton ball nearby in case of bleeding, but I never even need it. I love this program, and congrats to both of you for trying it. Kris, We did as much as phase 1 as possible on our first round. I think it helps tremendously! Drea

Hi. Haven't been on here for awhile. Been on phase 4 now for over 2 months. Still maintaining my weight. Lost around 20 Ibs. in 23 days on phase 2. I'm within a few Ibs. of my ideal weight. I'm surprised at how this diet has changed my eating habits. I have no cravings for rice and starchy things. I'll have a sandwich once in awhile, but no longer have strong craving for bread like I used to. No candies, sodas, sugars, etc either. Once in a while, I'll have a little cake and ice cream, but I'm satisfied with just a little and don't have a desire to eat more of it when I do. I still enjoy eating my phase 3 foods. Haven't had any desire to eat fast food since i did the diet months ago. I guess I fear regaining the weight after I sacrificed so much to lose it. But I also feel good when I eat well.
