I know what you mean. Isn't it funny, you want it to go on for ever and planning your next meal. I have been there. Right now on P3 I am eating and can't wait to get going again. Even the simpler foods Nancy from Ky

Day 25 of VLCD - weight 290.5 lbs. Down 35.5 lbs in 25 days.
One more observation - I can't get through the night now without having to get up once to pee. I feel like a geriatric.

Day 32 of the VLCD - weighed in this morning at 283 - a loss of 43 lbs so far. Just chugging along now. My pants are now falling off of me - I've tightened up my belt to the tightest hole - I'll have to punch out a new hole to make them tighter before this round is done I think. My wedding ring fits (wife is happy about that) and my watch is spinning around on my wrist - I guess I will have to tighten it up one notch too.
It is kind of interesting to see most of the weight coming directly from my waist. My face is full - I don't have that gaunt look that so many people have who are dieting. I think that is why people are just beginning to notice the weight loss now - especially now that they see my pants all crunched up at the waistband with the belt holding them up.
Odd observation: I have a lot less ear wax .... strange and weird - I know.

Strathy,
Keep going I did the protocol for a period of 35 days lost 37 pounds...I am 6'7" I started out at 289.9..got down to 252.9. I work out everyday cardio 3 days weights 3 days. after 6 weeks I am at 256.2...muscle or weight gain...I believe muscle...lost 4 inches off the waist...4 inches off my chest initially and have put 1 inch back on from weights
I am getting ready to do another round and am on day 2 of gorging...interesting thing happened this time...After my first day of gourging I only put on .8 of a pound..the first time I did this I put on 4 pounds..I am eating similar to last gorging.
I would be interested to hear about people that have done the second round and how they did compared to the first time.
Happy shots to everyone

Day 38 of the VLCD. Today I weighed in at 278 - down from 326. That's a total loss of 48 lbs. I've been finding it a bit harder these days - I think that my body wanted to plateau around 280 as I was stuck around there for a couple of days. However - now that I've moved past it I'm back to dropping a pound a day again.
My last injection is scheduled for Sunday - then 3 days of hunger and I'm done! I'm almost tempted to do another 8 days as I have the one vial left from ordering two rounds but then skipping one day a week. Anyone else gone beyond the 45 days? Dr. Simeons protocol says that they would stop people at 34 days but I don't remember why. Anyway - either way, the end is in sight for this round of injections. Ya baby!
Another odd observation: People really don't seem to notice that I've lost weight. I went to my chiropractor yesterday for the first time in 3 months and she didn't mention anything. Other friends of mine have not said anything either. I suspect that it is because so much of the weight has come off my waist where I was pretty good at hiding it. I mean - how can someone drop almost 50 lbs and people not notice?!?

Strathy,
This is a HCG support forum (NOT a competing site) that has people that have gone as long as 50 days without a break. Some amazing results and photos there as well. People have also only taken a very short Phase 3 break and then gone back to the HCG injections. I'm going for 44 days of injections with ony a couple of days without shots. My husband stopped after the initial 23 shots but continues to lose on phase 3. He just avoids all carbs and loads up on a big salad with lunch and dinner.
You're doing amazing! Hope you took some before photos.
Heather

Strathy,
Well here I am doing the shots for the second time...after the Gorge..I am on day 7....weighed 259.4....6 full days and am down 12 pounds to 247.4...it seems the weight is coming off a bit easier the second round. I think it is becasue the metabolism is cranked up from working out for the past 3 months 6 days a weemk.
I will keep you posted....i will not go past 30 days this time. Last time the headaches kicked in and workouts were very taxing.
Keep pluggin along if you feel well.....23 days left and my goal is another 17 lbs.
College weight yipppeee. That will put me at a total weight loss of 60 lbs. Really try to add the workouts whatever it may be into your routine...it does help.

Here we are - day 43 of the VLCD. My last injection was yesterday - now just 3 days of waiting .... My weigh in today was 275 - down 51 lbs from 326. Yep - that is what I was looking for.
I checked my BP on Friday and it was normal - another big bonus. When I started I was on drugs to bring it down to about 135/85. On Friday it was 119/73 - without the drugs. I stopped taking them about 2 weeks ago when I found my BP to be so low that I was getting light headed whenever I exerted myself. NOTE: I don't recommend that you adjust your meds yourself!!!

Day 46 - first day of P3. I weighed in this morning at 273.5. That makes the total loss 52.5 lbs in 45 days.
I am literally a different shape - although I still have 50 - 60 lbs to lose, my stomach and lower part of my body looks totally different. Simply amazing what has been done in 45 days. To think that on April 1st I was bloated with high blood pressure, hungry all the time and eating like a horse - and today, BP normal, lighter on my feet and full after a very small bit of cheese omelet.
The final 3 days without the injections were not too bad. I had little hunger and the weight kept coming off - I lost 1.5 lbs in those 3 days. I began to feel it a bit more yesterday afternoon - a bit of hunger and craving for savory food - but altogether not nearly as bad as what I thought it was going to be.
I had breakfast this morning - a cheese, omelet with a bit of chopped ham and tomatoes. It was about 4" across and I AM STUFFED! Plus my stomach feels almost a bit upset - too much all at once? Sure tasted good though.
Now off to 6 weeks of P3 - no carbs for 3 weeks and then I will try a bit to see how it goes. I think these first 3 weeks are very much like Atkins - which should not be too hard as it is BBQ season here.
I will do another 45 day round in 6 weeks - and plan to have everything done and eating normally by early Sept. It kind of sucks having to keep this up all summer - but a little more pain for a lifetime of gain. It took 20 some years to get into this condition - I can stick it out for 6 months to correct the condition.
Cheers everyone - I'll still check back in while on P3 but not as regular until I start P2 again.
