Hello Ladies,
I have been reading your posts for months now and finally I have my HCG injections and have no idea where to start. My sister has a boss that used them and lost tons of weight and I was hoping for the same results. I hear everyone talking about a book? I have no idea what that is. I have not started the injections because I am not sure what to eat, how much exercise etc. I know that I can get the information from you guys and the book and protocols? I am not sure but please enlighten me? Also, what are you using instead of conditioner if anything? I have such dry hair and it says you can't use conditioner? What about lotion? And can you still use tanning beds? I am going shopping sometime today and was wondering if you could give me some tips on what to buy? Thanks for the help!

Athena,
The Weight Loss Cure
by Kevin Trudeau (KT) is the book based on Simeons manuscript which it sounds like you have read some of. Go to http://www.hcgweight.com/docs/Pounds_and_Inches.pdf (http://www.hcgweight.com/docs/Pounds_and_Inches.pdf) and save a copy on your computer. Print out one too. Read it entirely and when you shop pick up a copy of the book. I saw it at Target recently!
Both have a list of what you may eat. Once you have read them most of your questions will be answered. Skin brushing, aloe vera gel and NaPca are some skin care options you can try. I have used Rachael Perry's oil free cucumber melon moisturizer sometimes. Sometimes I use a pea sized dab of coconut oil. I still used conditioner on my hair, but a nickel sized portion only.
I would say no about the tanning beds, but read KT's books and make your own decision. A better option would be to spend some time in the sun every day. Good Luck! Kathy

Thank you so much Kathy. I really appreciate it. I am kind of lost with all this. I will definetly go to target and look for that book. I am glad about the conditioner. You haven't had any effects by it? Thanks for the help.

Hi Athena,
The forum is a great place to pick up information. Everyone has great ideas.
Thanks, Kathy for the idea on Rachel Perry's oil free cucumber melon moisturizer. My hands are so dry and aloe vera gel just isn't touching it, although it works on my face.
I use small amounts of conditioner on my hair, but I get it in and rinse quickly so it doesn't stay on my scalp. I use plastic or rubber gloves on my hands to cut down on the exposure. I've been told not to let shampoo and conditioner run down the body if you wash your hair in the shower. Also, after you're done in the shower or washing your hair, don't let wet hair sit on bare skin since anything in the hair will be absorbed through the skin. (It's fine once the hair is dry).
Don't be overwhelmed by all the do's and don't's of the protocol. Once you start, it's pretty easy.
