Okay, my hands are litterally cracking and bleeding all over...even my fingertips!!!... so I just saturated them in vaseline.... anyone think this will present a problem? or is vaseline 100% okay to use in any amount??

Lorio,

Hi, how's it going besides the hands?  I think Vaseline is Ok, as it is not absorbed by the skin.  Did you get the Blistex for your lips?  I am using Corn Huskers Lotion on my hands.  It does not seem to hinder my loss.  Later, Toni

Between body brushing and coconut oil, I haven't had any dry skin problems yet. My lips do get a little dry, but I use blistex on them about once a week. The coconut oil is awesome. Regular vaseline is a petroleum product, like mineral oil, so it probably won't be absorbed. It may have some toxic effects though. For your hands, I would coat them well with coconut oil and go to bed with some cloth gloves on!!! By morning you should see and feel a difference. Good Luck, I hope your hands get better. Kathy

thanks guys, I will have to get some coconut oil and use it on my hands,,,they are killin me!!!
Other than my hands, I am doing great!!!  I am at 158.6, and losing has slowed down quite a bit, but so far I've been on injections for 2 1/2 weeks, and my loss averages to a little over a pound per day, which is amazing to me so I am happy!!!!  I have 23 more injections this time around, and only 8.6 pounds to my goal of losing 30 pounds this round....so I think I'm gonna shoot for a 35 pound loss by the end of this round... I think I can do that, as I am doing a total of 45 injections....maybe I'll even hit 40 pounds lost by the end of this one, and it would make it that much easier to hit my ultimate goal of 120 my next round.  We will see, and of course I'll keep ya all updated!!!!
Well Aunt Flo will be showing up any day now (was due today, so we will see)...so of course I am expecting to stall, and I'm not looking forward to that.....however, my birthday is on Feb 6th, so I think that when TOM arrives, I am going to stop injections, then stay on the VLCD for 3 days, then on the 4th day, I am going to have my hubby take me out for a birthday dinner (so I will cheat, and enjoy my birthday!!!)...then the next day I plan to resume the injections and the diet as usual.  What does everyone think about that?? Think It will be ok? or should I reconcider??  Gimme your thoughts!!

I think it's a good plan. The only suggestion I have, would be to do an apple day the day you resume injections!!!  Smiley
