Well today is day one for Brenda and I, I injected late because I went shopping for most of the morning. Anyways, I figure since I load today it's not as important what time I inject. Everything went fine, this time I used bacteriostatic water and ultra fine insulin syringes. No leak and I didn't even feel it. It's funny, maybe it's psychological but I already feel disconnected from food. Just not interested...  and I was so excited to eat whatever I wanted today too.  Huh

Is there anyone else who started today??? Tapz, I know you started yesterday and I'm glad everything went okay today. Happy Wednesday!!!

Kathy

Hi Kathy,
I think everyone has just been busy today.  Your second day of load.. wow, you ready to start tomorrow girl? You'll do fine, I hope you loaded plenty so you don't get hungry. I was pretty hungry even though I had gained 4 pounds for about 4 days.
That was tough. It's better now, I still feel hungry sometimes.
Good luck tomorrow. You can do this, stay focused.

Well here I am sipping some Yerba Mate tea, and feeling pretty good. I had a lovely salad with poached chicken for lunch. I just had my branacrisp cracker, and I still have some leftover salad to eat whenever the mood strikes. Today is the first day of my VLCD. I never completed my first round because, the holidays, TOM and sickness interfered. I am doing a 45 day round this time and that's that!!! I'm having steamed fish and asparagus for dinner.

I made my salad dressing in a cruet this time, so that I don't have to make more every day, like I did last time. I've got the cider vinegar and dijon recipe down to a science so I think I'll post it under recipes. I advise everyone to stock up on various kinds of dijon mustards...

Happy Sunday everyone  Cheesy _Just an update---I gained six pounds in loading. After the first day I dropped 4.4 of it. This morning I had dropped 1.2 of it. Today is day 3 of the VLCD for me. Tomorrow, I'm looking forward to getting the rest of the loading weight off and more!!!!! The shots are going great, the ultra fine insulin syringes are the best. I've been injecting on the thigh and just for variety I decided to try the tummy (I keep hearing that sc is fine); I couldn't feel it at all!!! Since I have 40 more injections to go, I may as well mix it up.

Well today, I lost another 2 lbs. Wow, that was more than expected, I am extra grateful for everything over 1 lb. a day I lose!!!

Yesterday, I had a late afternoon snack with tea that was awesome. I took my branacrisp cracker and sprinkled stevia and pumpkin pie spice on it. I felt just like I was having a cookie with my tea!!!

Sometimes when I think of everyone's fantastic results, I'm amazed about the plan too!  All of you have been of much encouragement to me, and I appreciate it!

Keep up the good work all, and I'll be on board with Phase 2 starting Saturday!
