Hello,

Today was my first day of injections.  I chose the thigh area.  i carefully cleaned the area,  Stretched the skin,  Aspirated back, drew a small amount of blood and plunged.  It started to leak a little bit but everything was fine.  A couple minutes later i started to get out of breath, light headed and my heart started racing.  I started to panic but things started to calm down.  Everythings seems ok now but i feel very fatigued.   Did i do anything wrong?  What might have caused this?  Im gonna try this again tomorrow.  If this happens again im going to have to stop the injections.  Just way to intense!

It sounds almost like you had a panic attack. Try to drink some camomile tea when you do your injection tomorrow. Listen to some calm music and  relax. It's sounds like you did everything ok, but I'm not sure about the drawing blood part. Hopefully Ramonad will read this and add her thoughts. Kathy

Tapz,

Ramonad did tell me that if you are injecting into fat or superficial muscle there is no need to aspirate.  I did not want to do that (aspirate) so that was the answer I was looking for!  I was also very nervous/upset on my first injection, but it was before I did it, not after. If it's just nerves, it will get better.  I am also injecting in my thigh.  Later, Toni

Is it possible i injected into a vein?  I made sure all air bubbles were out.  What would the reaction of a small air bubble being injected?

I don't know, Ramonad is our "resident nurse" and she will tell you. Where did you inject? Thigh? Did you go for IM or SC?

Did you go straight in or at an angle? I seems to me that either way there is almost no chance you hit a vein. It really sounds to me like you had a panic attack. Why don't you send a personal message to Ramonad? Go to members at the top of the page find her under the R's and ask her now. I don't know if she will go on the site today, so it's best if you go directly to her now. That way when she checks her email you will find her.

If you didn't hear from Ramonad yet, email Sharon the moderator of this site. I think she might have some words of wisdom too. The main thing is don't panic. Also, reread all the places on this site about injections--- this section "about HCG" has more than 7 pages of topics.... read on and concentrate on all the good things you can eat today while you are loading!!!

Kathy/Tapz,

I had a couple of questions for Ramonad, I sent her an email, and she responded promptly.  She is great!  She is also doing the protocol, too, so that helps.  Later, Toni

Ok so i woke this morning and prepared myself as suggested.  Relaxed, turned on the tv.  Made sure i went through the same steps.  To my surprise everything went perfectly fine.  I think u were absolutely right.  I had a frickin panic attack.  I couldnt believe it.  Ive never in my life had a panic attack or even come close to it.  So im very glad i am able to go through this process.  Ive been looking forward to the diet and losing the weight.  Just one question about the syringes.  Does everyone just store the mixed hcg in the syringes supplied?  3cc each syringe with .5cc injection daily.  I just want to make sure this is correct!

I thought it was 4 cc in each syringe, but yes that's how it can be done. Some people get the bacterostatic water and store it in a bottle and then load a new syringe each time. It worked perfectly fine to just store it in the syringes in the refrigerator.

Hi Tapz,
So glad to see that today was better for you. That first day is a little confusing and stressful.  I also do store mine in the needles.
What I do is once I mix the hcg I place about half of it in needles around 4 then the rest I leave in the vial until I need to fill more.
For me though I inject 5cc per shot.
Or half the syringe.
I hope that is right.
Kelly
I think I get about a dose of 175 per shot.

Kelly-
Im sure you meant   .5 cc  NOT 5 cc--cuz that would be a hell of a shot! Grin--Im doing . 40 this time-You only need 125 for it to work and we are getting 187 i believe--so im cuttin back a bit.It still equaled about 130. I think the smaller needle made all the difference in the world.

hi i was reading you're posts and wanted to reply. yes i believe you had a panic attack. i studied phlebotomy. you want to make sure you get  it into the muscle and not the vein. you dont pull back on the plunger. if you hit a vein and you get an air bubble it's not that bad it's when you get a whole lotta air it can go to the heart and cause major problemsa. i dont want to get into it and give you another panic attack as you already seem scared. just find a  muscle and put it in quick and just push down on the plunger. and of course you know to clean it before and after.
i havent read this here  but it's also good to dispose of used needles into a sharps container that can be purchased at a medical supply store. as a tattoo artist, i know it's actually illegal to dispose or needles and other biological contaminated waste in the trash.
good luck! Grin
