Today was my LAST INJECTION! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
(My post load weight was 179.8 and my LIW this morning was 155.0 woohoo!)
So two more days of the diet and then Wednesday morning I'm having an omlette for breakfast! On to Phase 3!

I was wondering about melba toast though... I had assumed since it was part of P2 it would be allowed in P3 as well, but I recently heard that you can't carry it over from P2 to P3... I guess it makes sense because it does have a little starch and sugar in it. Has anyone been eating it on P3 or have you experimented with it at all?  Huh I hope I can have it once in a while to put tuna and cheese on or something!

Thanks!
Samantha

Phase 3 is only for 3 weeks, so you'll be able to have whole grain toast, oatmeal, potatoes etc after the 3 weeks is over...

Samantha,

Congratulations on making it to 155 - that is awesome!!! Grin  Is that your goal weight or do you have to do another round of Phase 2 after Phase 3?  Be careful on Phase 3 as it can be tricky if you don't stick to it (I started Phase 3 at xmas - BIG mistake!)

Please keep us posted!

hello, out there i too, gave myself my last injection today. My beginning weight was 172 lbs now I'm at 147 lbs it is a wonderful feeling. I have been trying to find out menu ideals for phase three. when it says no sugar does that mean no fruit, which breaks down to sugar, is it low carb or is it just  starches such as breads and pasta. I guess I need more menu examples, is there anyone that can give me more insight on Phase 3. Finally, is it three days after your last injection or two?

Bee -- Thanks! I'm pretty happy the way I am but depending on how I feel I may do another round in a few months. It would be nice to get down to about 140.

Vallarry -- Congrats to you too! As for fruit in P3, I remember reading in the manuscript it just says be careful with very sweet fruits. I've read you shouldn't have bananas (although some people have eaten them without problems), mangos, pineapple, etc.
Oh, and it's 72 hours after your last injection, which would be the day OF your last injection, plus two more days.... So since my last inj was Sunday, I'll start P3 on Wednesday.

  The Duration of Treatment

Patients who need to lose 15 pounds (7 kg.) or less require 26 days treatment with 23 daily injections. The extra three days are needed because all patients must continue the 500-Calorie diet for three days after the last injection. This is a very essential part of the treatment, because if they start eating normally as long as there is even a trace of HCG in their body they put on weight alarmingly at the end of the treatment. After three days when all the HCG has been eliminated this does not happen, because the blood is then no longer saturated with food and can thus accommodate an extra influx from the intestines without increasing its volume by retaining water.

We never give a treatment lasting less than 26 days, even in patients needing to lose only 5 pounds. It seems that even in the mildest cases of obesity the diencephalon requires about three
This is from Dr Simeons-Like i said-I dont know to Much about KTS!!!
