Its one apple and one grapefruit per day. As a general rule the vegetables are also 100 grams (3.5 oz.) but I noticed that if you calorie count you don't really have to limit lettuce.

So is that like 3.5 oz per serving or total of vegis. So say in one meal my total weight of vegis would be 3.5 oz right. Not 3.5 of lettuce and 3.5 of tomatoes. I've actually just been doing one large handful, I've only weighed meat so far. I just make sure it is a large handful.. Kelly

You actually have enough calories to have 3.5 oz of your main vegetable choice plus a mixed salad. You should be having 2 tomatoes per day plus your vegies and salad. Here is a sample calorie count menu. You can see that there is 5 oz. of lettuce here--that is alot!!
Kathy
P.S. Click on the paper clip below and view the sample excel calorie count sheet.
P.P.S. It took me a couple of tries to be sure it was an excel version that most people will be able to read!!!

I should add that with the ingredients in my last post with the excel calorie count you could have something like this:
Morning Teas, Fiber drink
Mid Morning Grapefruit, Melba Toast, Tea
Lunch Mixed Salad with lettuce, green onion, celery, tomato, apple cider dressing, Chicken, Tea
Mid Afternoon left over salad, bread stick, Tea
Dinner Asparagus with lemon, a sliced tomato, a bed of chopped onion that was sauteed in water until soft and translucent with steak on top, Tea
Evening snack Baked apple with lemon, stevia and cinnamon, More Tea!!!
2 liters of water throughout the day

Thanks Kathy, I never thought to carry left-over salad to mid-aft. But then I was eating too little of it so I ate every last drop. But I was wondering what your fiber drink is? thistime

You can have a fiber drink? Where is that, I've never seen that one. I'm confused about the apple day too. In my book you only do an apple day in phase 3, not during phase 2. But I've seen some saying their doing an apple day because of plateau's. Is that the protocol in Dr.S's? Kelly

Kelly, I am doing KT's protocol, and in his book he says to do the apple day when you hit a plateau in phase two.

Kelly, I lent my book to my aunt, so I don't have it in front of me, but if I remember correctly, it is in the FAQ chapter. Lori

In the instructions you get with your product when you order from this site it says to have "colon cleanse stuff" among other very helpful things under "General Tips". For me that is Organic Triple Fiber or Super Seed, but I have used the Colonix fiber drink and ABC (Aerobic Bulk Cleanse). It's just a fiber powder mixed with a glass of water chased with another glass of water. It's something I do daily anyways, whether I'm on the VLCD or not and I only get constipated if I forget to do it!!! Then I have to drink smooth move etc... The Apple day is definately in Phase 2, during injections and the VLCD, for the purpose of breaking a plateau. In Pounds and Inches http://www.hcgweight.com/docs/Pounds_and_Inches.pdf (http://www.hcgweight.com/docs/Pounds_and_Inches.pdf) it's on page 26 under The Plateau. Let me add that another reason to order from this site (other than supporting the creators of this awesome forum) , is that you not only get all of the injection supplies needed, but 6 pages of detailed instructions on injection, diet, hints etc... P.S. Yes your salad should be huge--5 ounces of lettuce is alot!!! BTW I use organic tomatoes that are small to begin with, and I weigh them after I take out the core and slice off the end!

Thanks Kathy for the info on the cleanses... I went to Whole Foods on Tuesday and was overwhelmed with all the choices. At $30 - $50 bucks, I want to get it right!

Shari, Super Seed beyond fiber is only about $20 for a huge container.
Laura, only limit the main vegetable choice to 3.5 ounces, you don't have to for lettuce. If you use the excel calorie counter, you can use lettuce to "fill in the blanks". Planning ahead is important too!
