Hey thistime,

I wonder if the salt would be absorbed by your body, and that would be equal to having a lot more salt than usual on that day?  Just a thought.  We are not restricted on how much salt we use per day, but are supposed to keep it at the same level every day.  That's an interesting question that I do not know the answer to, but if you can't use it now, maybe in phase 3 or 4 it would be ok. Later, Toni

Thistime, If it's organic sea salt or epsom salt, it shouldn't have any negative effect at all. In fact, with the epsom salts, it has a diruetic, tightening effect on your skin and tissues, taking away the appearance of cellulite. I don't know how the seaweed salts will work. A model friend of mine used this trick alot with the epsom salts. Plus having a bath is very relaxing and keeps you busy and out of the kitchen. Try it and let us all know how it effects you during the VLCD. Kathy

I would say try it one time and look at your scale.  If it stays the same or gos up then you will know if your body is holding water from to much salt absorbed through the skin...

Then we will all know,
