HCG doses

Do Hcg doses relate to how much weight you have to lose?  How do you determine if 125 IU is better than 175IU.  Everyone seems to be injecting a different amount.

Barb, This is the way I understand it: I dont think the dose relates to how much you want to lose as much as how many times you plan to do the injection phase. Over time you become immune to the effects of HCG. Hence, the stipulation to do no more than 45 injections at once and to follow with maintenence phases. Also some people skip one day per week to strech out the injection phase and the VLCD.

Each time you do an injection phase, you may want be able to increase the dose. Also, whether you are injecting sc or im may play a part. The im injections have a more immediate effect while the sc injections take more time to take effect. If you are getting 8 injections out of  a 1500 IU ampoule, each injection is 187.5. This is what I did and I was grateful that I was injecting more than 125 since during the time I was getting the hang of injecting, I seemed to leak some of the product out of the injection site.

Well Kathy, I think you covered most of it.  I would like to inject that through the years of Dr. Simeons research he stated that using a higher dose had no greater effects.  So using 125 iu has been shown to have the same effect as using 187 iu..

My partner and I used 125 iu through our first round and had great results, and now we are in our first week of our second round using 125 iu and I have lost 5.8 pounds in 4 days and my partner has lost 5 lb.

So it comes down to if you want to increase the amount of days/shots(up to 40/45 days), to increase the amount you lose during a round. 

So instead of 8 injections per vial, you can get 12...(but remember that you will have to get more needles then what comes in your kit)

Hi-I dont know if this is helpful at all-but the needles we get with this site-well for me--some of the shots burned and yes kathy-leaked--i had to use bandaides--I bought 29g and a huge difference to me---You feel nothing-100% painless and NO leaking.I too am changing my dosage next round to the 125iu instead of the higher dosage.I read that to Ramonad.Great job so far on round two -are you mixing veggies this time ?Still havent been brave enough for that one.Im changing things up a bit next round--Not so much chicken-Thought id start cluckin! I wish the fruit was a bigger variety----So--Sharon-Maybe in the future--Maybe think of smaller needles---Thats one change id like to see and maybe offer a vial opener-I cut my thumb open  twice!OUCH!!

Wow! This is so great to finally get some answers.  My doctor is ordering the hcg.  I don't know what to tell him.  He is just listening to me.  I did hear from Sharon that I only need to do injections for 23 days as my fat is targeted fat and cellulite.  I hope this helps.  So I'm assuming that I need the full amount of 200 IU because of the short duration.  I only need to lose 10-15 pounds.  Anyone else out there like me?  Thank you all so much!

I just made an appointment with my Dr for this afternoon.  He is the one that studied under Dr Weil.  I'm going to ask him about the diet and if he will prescribe HCG.  I'll let you know how it goes.
