I'm posting this earlier quote from Hans, so you can see that some people do two raw salads per day:
This has been my daily routine for the past week and it seems to be working, though maybe not as well as some others. I've lost 10 lbs in 7 days.
- Shot & weigh in at 9:00 am.
- Snack around 10:00-11:00 am when I have a grapefruit (try to get organic when I can)
- Lunch is approx 100 grams of protien (either grilled chicken breast or steak or a combo of both...I pre-grilled several days worth in advance and use it cold in a salad) with a large salad consisting of 1/2 seedless cucumber, several inches of white raddish or several red radishes, 1/2 celery stalk, 1-2 tomatoes, 1/4 onion, handful lettuce, liberal amounts of unfiltered apple cider vinegar, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes.
- Dinner is the same as Lunch
- 10:00 pm snack is one apple (organic if possible)
During the day I drink at least 1/2 gallon of water. That's about it!
The salads are actually pretty good and quite filling!
