For those of you who thought I dropped off the face of the earth - well, I didn't!

So, for those that have the time and patience, be prepared for a lengthy update:
I'm sorry I haven't been active in this forum in quite awhile but I've been putting my energies elsewhere while doing my best to maintain on Phase 3. Since Brent started his new job he has been working a LOT (you know, the "learning curve") and I've been working hard around here to make it easier on him. I had a major dip in my workload in February so I decided to throw myself into some home projects. I completely redid my closet (which was very neglected due to my issues with my body and my wardrobe) and I feel so much better! I got the idea after watching Oprah's show about the organizer who wrote the book "Does this clutter make my butt look fat?" I got rid of so many clothes that Brent half-jokingly asked me if I was leaving him! I also put an expiration date on the clothes I did keep that I'm not into yet and if I'm not into them by June 1 they are getting tossed as well. As I'm not a nudist, I feel it will encourage me to stick to this program or I'll have nothing to wear.
I've been able to stay within 3 lbs. of my LIW (I stay between 137 and 140). I was hoping to start on Phase 2 again March 1st but the backlog of HCG had other ideas so I hope to start next weekend. I'll be going to Miami for two weeks to work on some cases there and I'm pretty psyched as I won't have to worry about the temptations at home or taking care of my family. There is a gym at the hotel so I can workout out every night. Unfortunately, I won't have internet access while I'm gone (thanks to my government issued laptop), but I promise to post my results when I return in early April.
I'm tired of missing out on parts of my life (bathing suits, beach, wearing shorts, etc.) and I sincerely hope to get this weight off once and for all. I would really love to post some great after shots when I'm done to show others this really works!!!

I miss being here and contributing support to others as I feel pretty selfish not doing so. But I'm just doing the best I can to take care of me right now and I hope to find more time when I return to take up the cause again. In the meantime, I think Kathy, Brenda, and the rest are doing a fantastic job of helping the regulars and the newbies! Thanks girls - I know I speak for everyone here that your constant support and encouragement help so many people. I do get quite a few personal messages and emails from members here and I always answer them so feel free to check in with me. If I don't answer, I will when I return from sunny Miami.
A big CONGRATS to all of you who are doing this!
Ciao~
