Congratulations, Alisa. I knew it. I hoped that it was about to arrive. Now we need to concentrate on Mixie...
It's day six of my VLCD and I'm down another 2.5 today for a total of 9.5!

WoW 9.5 lbs That's SUPER FANTASTIC Kathy!! I can't wait to see those types of results. I have gained some weight waiting on the HCG though, that part is not so good but I'm so looking forward to seeing the success that you and everyone else are experiencing. MIXIE I can definitely relax your mind, I'M SURE YOUR HCG will come soon. I was starting to get really discouraged, but IT finally came so keep the faith, IT WILL come......

Before I post my latest results I just want to give a shout out to Alisa - so happy for you! and Kathy - awesome results girl! I returned from my weekend trip last night and after weighing myself this morning, I'm up 1 lb. I tried so hard to stick to the plan while I was away but unless you're staying somewhere with a kitchen, it is near impossible. I had to eat out a couple times and I had two steak salads with the veggies I'm allowed and my salad dressing. At the baby shower all I had were some strawberries and a couple pickles and people were looking at my quite strangely! I wasn't able to drink the amount of water I should or my tea. So, after all that gaining a lb. isn't the worst. I just feel I wasted two days of the plan and I have no other travel between now and xmas thank goodness.
My progress so far on the VLCD:
Day 1: 152.5
Day 2: 149.5
Day 3: 147.5
Day 4: 146.5
Day 5: 145.5
Day 6: 145
Day 7: ? (out of town) Day 8: ? (out of town)
Day 9: 146
I'll get back on track today and hope to see some more progress!
Carla

Sorry, I screwed up my days - here is the corrected version.
Day 1: 152.5
Day 2: 149.5
Day 3: 147.5
Day 4: 146.5
Day 5: 145.5
Day 6: 145.5
Day 7: 145 Day 8: ? (out of town)
Day 9: 146
6.5 lbs. in 8 days with two being my "lost weekend" is not too shabby!

Well----I did a apple day yesterday--Its kinda hard without drinking all that water i was use to so hopefully today i can flush it all out today----I am STILL 175 today---I read and reread lbs and inches. Its just NORMAL so am just going to continue as always.Take each day as it comes and do the best i can.Yesterday the family had Spaghetti & garlic bread and manwiichs--smelled so good!- for lunch and i was so so so tempted but i didnt!Im so proud of that- Ive lost 2 inches in my belly and thats more important then the scale so-im happy-thats where i want to lose it.I think i finally learned-There is NO room for cheating! You might as well quit now or just do everything in your power to talk yourself out of it.Back to eating ONLY whats on my list. This is tough but bottom line is---IT WORKS!!!! Im half way there-- 12 days--10lbs down and hopefully another 10 but if not-Its ok-- Good Luck to you all!!Happy LOSING!!

I think you all are doing gr8 even with the minor cheats. To be honest the weight you see is not really weight gain, It truly does take 3500 calories to gain a pound and unless you can actually say you feel you ate that many calories, then the weight gain or lack of lost is probably the weight of the food you ate, water rentention from the high sodium content of food and the need to eliminate what you've eaten. So I definitely think you both will be back on the right track in no time, but like you said Brenda no room for cheating it can regress you. I knew I would cheat with Thanksgiving dinner and the wedding I"m going to this Saturday, so I vow to wait until next Sunday to start even though I'm very anxious to get started. Happy losing everyone and keep up the good work. P.S. Kathy hope you are feeling back to normal today!!!!!! Carla even though you gained a 1lb it still averages out to be .72 a day which is super fantastic!!!!!!

Alisa, You are so right! How could I have gained a lb. because I did not eat any more than usual, I just wasn't able to have completly oil-free meat in my salad. I was really good but just frustrated that I was away from home. I bet since I'm resuming my liquid intake today and will be more regular now that I'm home, that lb. will hopefully vanish overnight! I think it is really smart to wait until AFTER Thanksgiving. I'm making my food list for all my company and doing all the grocery shopping and it is not going to be fun knowing I can't have any of it! Brenda - I think you're doing great. Keep it up!

Well, I'm almost back to normal. My voice is back, but I'm still coughing! Saturday was my last injection until after Thanksgiving and I'm not hungry still. My TOM showed up this morning . My scale showed another .6 lb down for a total of 10.3 lbs!!! Not bad!!! I'm glad I stopped the injections now that I know that my father is taking everyone out to dinner Wednesday night. My tenative eating plan for Wednesday and Thursday is to go with fruit in the mornings and Atkins in the afternoons and evenings-no pumpkin pie or desserts. I just don't know how I'll do without stuffing, mashed potatoes, yams and cranberry sauce on Thursday. On the other hand, if I had maybe 1/4 cup of the stuffing and mashed potatoes each(forgo the yams) and a teaspoon of cranberry sauce with my Turkey and just stayed tiny with my portions maybe I'll be maintain my weight. By Thursday all of the HCG should be out of my system too. So, regardless of these little blips and flatlines we are ALL having, we will all continue to lose weight!!! (on the scale)

Though I've been posting my results in the "after Thanksgiving" thread, I thought I'd return here to my original results thread. Quick overview, I lost 7 lbs. prior to Thanksgiving but wasn't able to stick to the plan when I had a ton of company descend on me for almost a week. So I stopped injections and ate regularly for that week. After my company left, I resumed the injections. I went back on the VLCD on Tuesday Nov. 27. After 4 days back on the VLCD I'm down 9 lbs!!!!!!! I can't believe my eyes but as they say on Celebrity Fit Club "The scale doesn't lie!" I have 17 days of injections left and I'm hoping to reach 126 by then. Starting weight: 152 Weight now: 143.5 I just want to say that without all the support of my friends here I don't know if I would have made it this far. It does take a certain mindset and discipline to do this and I'm really happy that I've been up to the challenge. Thanks to all of you for your encouragement.

I would also like to add, lest anyone get down because their results are as fast as mine, that some of the 9 lbs. were probably lbs. I lost prior to Thanksgiving that were reflected as water weight on the scale afterwards. So the 9 lbs. is my cumlative result. I'll take it either way!

Today I weighed .5 lb heavier (144). I'm not sure why but it could be because I had chicken twice yesterday or the fact that I spazzed and forgot to do my HCG shot yesterday until 2 p.m.! I'm not going to fret about it and went out and exercised as usual to keep my determination up.
I need to go shopping today for some more meat of all types!

Back down the .5 lb today so I lost 9 lbs. after one week on the VLCD.
Present weight: 143.5
This weeks goal: To break the 140's - hopefully by a couple pounds!
