Hello, I am on day 25 of the injections and I have been seeing great results.....started off after the two day load weighing 223.5 pounds.....I am a male 5'11"..... in the 23 days since I started the 500 cal diet I have lost 20.5 pounds........ almost a pound a day.......in all I have had 7 or 8 days where no weight was lost here and there..........not 7 or 8 days in a row.......the apple day worked both times I did it and it was not difficult to do and get through the days that just were apples for food, since hunger is only rarely an issue on this diet............I would like to keep going with this round until I get to 190 and then I feel I will be at a very reasonable size for my height so hopefully in two more weeks I can reach my goals and I will show some pictures and measurement results.........if anyone has any questions for me on what I have been doing.....feel free to ask......thanks, Andy

I do the shots everyday as well and after a few days I really got use to them, but lately I have not been liking it..........anyways I am on day 31 of the injections now and on day 29 of the the VLCD and I now weigh 198, so my total weight loss is at 25.5 pounds..........gonna go until saturday or sunday to finish up hopefully at 195.........I plan on round two of phase two in February to get to 180 so hopefully that will be closer to a 20 -25 day phase instead of high 30's..........congrats to everyone!!!!

Andy,

Kudos to you for sticking with this!  I'm on Day 3 of the VLCD and while it is going well so far (down 5 lbs.), I can see it will take a lot of discipline and planning to make it the whole way.  I'm determined to do so even through a weekend trip and having loads of company for Thanksgiving.  The thing I like best is not being hungry all the time which is a first for me.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks for all the replies and good luck to everyone else as well................My main way of getting through this was saying at the beginning......."Regardless of me having little hunger during this protocol I understand that this can and is going to suck, or be hard to get through, but all I have to do is take it one day at a time"...........I planned that for 30 or so days I was not going to go out much at all, drink alcohol, or eat a lot.....I was originally going to go 30 days meaning I would be on maintenance by now, but when I got to that point I said "I have made it this far, why not just do one more week, I can handle it".....I have all this hcg laying around and figured as long as I have plenty of it to use, I mind as well continue this round for a longer period since I am already in it and can get out of it as much as possible.........

Andy,

I like your attitude!  I feel so great on this (very little hunger) that I may continue past the 23 days too.  Even though I don't have a large amount to lose (about 32 total...down 5 lbs. now), this weight has affected almost every aspect of my life.  Or, rather, I've allowed it to.  I avoid socializing sometimes because I'm always on a diet, I never buy clothes because I'm always waiting to get to my "goal", etc. Ever since I read KT's book, though, I've been sooooo excited that I finally found the solution to my problem!  So, I'm going into this full throttle so I will no longer have to let this weight limit me.  I also want to prove to my friends and family that I can do it.  They're very skeptical and with my past history, I don't blame them.  I'd just like to be a success this time so I can be the best possible "me" and enjoy all aspects of my life.

ANDY-Very good job--
Thanks for letting us know results-It helps us all out in our journey! If you ever want to SELL any of that "extra" hcg let me know-Im pretty sure i want to do one more round. bpratt555@hotmail.com
Its not really Hard to do its just so different from what we were use to doing---Did that make sense!?  Wink
Everyday seems to be the way everyone is doing there shots so maybe ill just hang in there and do that!It just seemed to make sense that if HCG stays in your body 3 days why  waste the hcg daily-why not do shots every 3rd day Huh ---I dont know---I just try and use common sense!
Anyway-Just wanted to give you a thumbs up!!!WAY TO GO  --or
WAY TO GO ANDY!!Yeah-That definently deserves a ticker!! Grin

Brenda,

From what I understand, if you did the injections every three days, yes you'd have HCG in your system but not enough to be as effective as everyday.  It makes sense because that's why we load at the beginning while it is building up in our system to the best level.

ok......day 32 of injections day 30 of VLCD and my weight is at 196.5.........total lost since day 1 of the VLCD is 27 pounds..........probably gonna end on saturday......but we will see maybe I will be crazy and go one more week.......I doubt it though.......I sense the hcg is not effective in my body, I may be showing some resisitance since I seem to have to do an apple day frequently in order to keep the weight moving down at a steadier rate........

Andy,

Have you noticed any increase in your hunger?  If so, that might indicate your body has gotten used to the HCG.  If not, it is likely still working.  I think 27 lbs. in 30 days (VLCD) is phenomenal!

hey carla.......still no REAL hunger issues..........but if I don't do an apple day here and there I can stay at the same weight for up to four days which gets discouraging..........but I know that I should have little to complain about...........good luck and talk to you all soon with more updates.........Andy
